Description		Are you a qualified and experienced Bricklayer looking for a career change still using your Bricklaying skills and experience? Do you want the chance to give something back to the industry? Or are you an experienced Bricklaying trainer looking for a new challenge? I am working with a training establishment looking to grow their team of Bricklaying Lecturers and Trainers to teach both experienced Bricklayers and apprentice Bricklayers in NVQ and City and Guilds programmes. You will be based permanently in one of the locations outlined below but please still apply if these locations are not relevant as further opportunities in different areas may also be available. The successful Bricklayer is not required to have lecturing experience as training and support in this area through formal qualifications and mentoring from senior members of staff will be provided. Package Details: -Salary: �20000 to �33000 (Dependent on Qualifications and Experience) -Training: Cert Ed Teaching Degree, NVQ Assessor Awards (A1) -Pension: 13% - 16% Final Salary Employer Contribution -Holidays: 35 - 50 days holiday plus Christmas efficiency and Bank Holidays -Hours: 37 hours per week -Bonus: �4000 - �5000 one off payment after 12 months for people new to teaching Requirements A level 3 Qualification in Bricklaying (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Advanced Craft) Only Extensive experience as a Bricklayer A desire to pass on your skills and experience to apprentice Bricklayers Experience training Bricklayers in the trade will be a distinct advantage. The Training The training establishment will pay for the successful Bricklayer or experienced Bricklaying Lecturer to achieve recognised teaching certificates and NVQ Assessor Awards (A1). Further Training to become an Internal Verifier may be offered if necessary (V1). This training will be done during your working hours and you will be given remission from your normal duties to complete these qualifications.
