Description		Senior Planner / Construction Planner A premier construction consultancy in Central London is urgently seeking a Senior Planner to work on a variety of building-related projects. This role would ideally suit a Planner that is working in a contractor environment but is interested in making the move across to consultancy. Our client is one of the premier construction consultants in the UK. Operating on various projects in the retail, residential, commercial and industrial sectors, this company provides a range of services to it's clients including project management and cost consultancy. Due to continual development, our client requires a Senior Planning Engineer (Senior Planner) to work on a number of exciting new-build and refurb projects across London. Typically these involve schools, commercial offices, retail developments, hotels and sports stadiums (amongst others). As an Senior Planner, you will be responsible for producing detailed construction and design programmes, assisting junior members of staff, monitoring project progress, weekly and monthly report writing and liaising with senior management and clients. An element of claims may also be included, so any previous experience would be extremely desirable. The ideal candidate will have the following (although those with less experience will still be considered): - Significant planning experience within the construction sector, either within a contractor or consultancy environment. - A relevant degree within a construction-related discipline. - Proficiency with PowerProject would be advantageous. - A self-starter with experience of leading major projects. - Strong communication skills as this is a client facing role. In return, our client will offer a market-leading salary of up to �50,000 basic salary, alongside an extremely competitive benefits package.
