Description		High Level Building Services SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR: Up To �60,000 Plus Car & Excellent Package. I am currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Surveyor to work for a large national construction company who are looking to strengthen their impressive team with a senior surveyor of real quality. The company operates throughout the UK with an annual turnover in excess of �300 million, with the North West region responsible for over �60 million and growing fast. This dynamic team have led from the front and the region is quickly becoming the most important in the region. Typically the business works from 90% repeat business, typically on contracts between �5-10 million with projects coming from a range of sources including PFI�s and PCT�s. A current project this candidate would have involvement in would be a �65 million PFI project that will comprise of over 300 specialist units, communal areas, infrastructure, groundwork�s ect. This person must be able to take an overview of a project of this size; it is not just a project surveyor but also someone who can provide guidance to others on the team. As well as this person must have the ability to demand exacting standards and to be very client focused in driving the team forward. At present the team comprises of 4x trainees, 4x Asst/ Inter, 3x Project and a Managing QS. The idea of this role is that this person can come in to handle some of the larger projects to lead the rest of the team to have a member of the team the Commercial Director can hand a project to whatever the size and this person can be expected to run with it themselves; utilising the existing team. This position would report directly to the Commercial Director and is seen as a key appointment for the business. What I am looking for are senior surveyors who are working for a major contractor. Someone that is confident in their abilities and someone that is looking to join a growing team and play a key role in driving the business forward.
