Description		SENIOR ENGINEER - �35-40K + PACKAGE - SUSSEX Our Client is a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor who has a reputation for working on large-scale projects and delivering these with a professional and first-class service. Internationally renowned contractor, employing more than 35�000 employees across five corporate divisions within 60 different countries. They design, finance, build and operate complex projects of all kinds on every continent. Currently they are recruiting a Senior Engineer for a �100m design and build project based on the East Sussex coast constructing a waste to energy plant which will incinerate municipal solid waste and utilise the resultant energy for the production of electricity. Your key activities as senior engineer will be to: � Manage the site dimensional control, ensuring that all contractors have the facilities for setting out the works � Manage quality control � Manage temporary works design, ensuring that the company's procedures are implemented and all works are undertaken safely � Plan and programme the works, producing and reviewing construction methods statements � Manage construction records � Prepare project execution, health and safety and environmental plans � Ensure that work is undertaken safely � Work with the design team to resolve technical problems � Lead and motivate the engineering team You will: � Correctly interpret information from drawings and specifications and transfer this to the site operatives and sub-contractors � Be fully conversant with current surveying equipment � Be a forward thinker who has good ideas � Have very good problem solving skills � Have excellent communication skills � Be driven by goals � Have over 3 years experience in civil, structural or building engineering � Hold an engineering degree or HND, HNC You will also be given an excellent salary along with package which will include car allowance, bonus scheme, private medical, pension, and travel allowance.
