Description		Associate Mechancial Engineer / Principal or Senior Building Services Engineer / IES / Hevacomp / CIBSE Leading global, multi-disciplinary consultancy with genuine organic growth and the opportunity to work on high profile, prestigious projects, are now seeking to recruit an Associate Mechanical Engineer to head up their building services division. Location: Bury St. Edmunds is situated in a bustling town, yet retains a rural feeling, within easy reach of Cambridge and Ipswich and under 90 minutes to London and East/West Midlands. Job Requirements: Key responsibilities include leadership on mechanical, building services projects - focussing on delivery to the Client and technical excellence. You will be managing many projects at any one time and become involved in the design at an early stage. Management of the project involves fees and invoicing, project resource management and mentoring and coaching. The ability to plan mechanical design deliverables for each project stage is a pre-requisite. Communication skills are essential to liaise with clients and design teams, confirming briefs and holding technical meetings. Previous successful development of energy strategies and incorporating renewable technologies and low energy designs into key projects would be advantageous. Experience of satisfying local authority planning requirements and compliance with Building Regulations Part L would be highly advantageous. Details: Ideally Chartered or working towards Chartership status would be preferred but most importantly, a proven track record of handling multiple building services projects within strict deadlines is essential criteria for this role. Experience of IES and Hevacomp software is required.
