Description		Having recently been awarded four large-scale, publicly funded health and education schemes in the North West, the regional office of a global contracting group is keen to secure the services of at least one Project Manager with experience on such projects. The experience required will have been gained on new build education or health projects, ideally both, in the �40-�60m build value range, and the Project Manager will have been heavily involved with client relations. A steady background with top 20 main contractors, a very professional work ethic and a keen appreciation of both modern and tried and tested construction methods would all form part of the make-up of the ideal candidate. The ability to stay focused and organized, and to manage both direct and sub-contracted labour are essential, as is the ability to prepare all associated paperwork and maintain complete records of site activities along with a good understanding and belief in good health and safety practice on site. The building division of this global contractor operates through a network of regional offices across virtually all market sectors, including health, education, leisure, industrial, commercial, retail, multi-storey car parking and high security. The division's turnover exceeds �300m, and the average contract is over �8m in build value. Approximately 80% of contracts are secured as repeat business or negotiated work. The company also operates successfully in the civil engineering market and is a market leader in this field.
