Description		A site manager is required to join a Liverpool-based contractor, to take responsibility for a new build medical centre on the Wirral. The project is valued at �2.5m and will require a manager to operate as a number one on site, maintaining a strong presence and reporting to a visiting contracts manager. The site manager will be responsible for writing method statements, carrying out and document risk and site assessments, maintaining health and safety standards, managing relationships with the sub-contractors and performing all duties normally required of the role, and will be supported by a foreperson on site. Experience of new build and refurb in this or associated sectors is essential, as are strong communication and organisational skills. Providing construction services primarily in the industrial, commercial, educational, and retail sectors, the company operates throughout the North West of England. While the company is comparatively new, its employees from Directors through to operatives have a wealth of experience built up through being involved in construction for many years. With projects ranging up to �3m and an annual turnover of �14m, the company is involved in both new build and refurbishment, and carries out projects under all forms of Building Contracts. The company has been involved in work on many buildings forming Liverpool's famous skyline. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-starting and dependable Site Manager who is looking to join a growing local contractor with an excellent reputation.
