Description		My client is currently looking for a Workshop Manager based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. A Workshop Manager is required to implement the strategy for the development of the workshop function and for the provision of a fleet fit for purpose for the North Yorkshire contract. This role will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the workshop facility, responding to the measures for all key business areas to achieve this, while overseeing the day to day management of the workshop function. The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications of competence including C&G Motor Technician or equivalent and will be a member of the Society of Operations Engineers. You will have knowledge of vehicle design and associated legal requirements and detailed knowledge of light plant and transport industry. You will be able to: � Maximise the performance of others through goal-setting and empowerment � Consider all viewpoints and gains agreement on mutually acceptable outcomes, whilst maintaining the interests of the business � Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients � Proactively develop a positive team culture with colleagues and clients My client offers a fantastic benefits package as well as competitive salaries and is an equal opportunities employer.
