Description		Our client is one of the leading contractors / construction managers within the UK construction market. There dedication to construction excellence is unrivalled and due to this have over 80% client retention / repeat business and a very high success rate for the major projects that they are tendering for. There portfolio is very diversified and have projects ranging from residential, major commercial high rise offices, rail regeneration, BSF, PFI and transportation. Due to an aggressive expansion plan within the pre construction team they are currently recruiting two Senior Estimators to work in their London offices. Duties & Responsibilities include; - To plan and organize the work to ensure at all times that it meets timely and qualitative objectives. - To ensure that the Company policies and procedures for the business are followed. -Review personal tenders to strengthen the bid process and taking advantage of any competitive edge. - Take ownership for the timely processing of Subcontractors enquiries liaising with supply chain team. - Evaluating of Subcontractors quotations and producing competitive costs for packages where quotations are not received, with the aim of compiling a complete net cost for presentation at Tender settlement stage. - Ensure that the tender risks in relation to contracts are correctly identified and accounted for. - Encourage and develop the competent use of data spreadsheets and databases in order to maximize the efficient sourcing and collection of data to enable the production of accurate cost estimates to time. - Measurement and preparation of accurate quantities from appropriate Supply Chain Partners in order to ensure maximum competitive edge with a view to supporting maximum tender success - Ensure tender internal handover process is followed and ensure that pricing levels support the business goals. The Senior Estimator can expect and very competitive salary, travel allowance, benefits package and bonus scheme (with an OTE in excess of a six figure salary take home). There is also the OPPORTUNITY to work for a colossus construction player within the UK and international market and to join a very dynamic pre-construction team. As a Senior Estimator, you will have previous experience working within a pre-construction / estimating environment and tendering for projects ranging from �10m + in value and extensive knowledge of various forms of contracts (JCT, Cost Plus, NEC).
