They are now seeking to recruit an Estimator to join their team based on the London/Essex borders.

You will be ideally be from a main contracting background with new build experience. Have an interest in further developing your career in a residential, refurbishment and social housing context.

Duties:-
• To provide realistic new price for projects
• To price all work in line with current market conditions
• To liaise with consultants in the tender preparation
• To ensure all subcontract packages are sent out in good time
• To prepare tender settlement sheets and attend tender settlement meetings
• To check all tender document information is available and of a standard suitable for tendering
• To prepare tenders based on estimating procedures

Essential skills:
You should be a commercial estimating professional with proven estimating experience able to work to strict deadlines and on your own initiative as required. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of estimating and tendering procedures, substantial experience of estimating within the construction sector, recognised qualifications (highly desirable), a background of new build with knowledge of the Conquest estimating package highly desirable.
