Planner/Planning Engineer - Yorkshire

My client, a major contractor, currently requires an Intermediate Planner to be based from their office in Yorkshire. This would ideally suit an individual who has previously worked on social housing or residential projects and is interested in taking the next step in his/her career.

The role will involve working on numerous construction-related projects, including major residential schemes, social housing complexes and commercial projects. Their excellent reputation and order book for the next few years means that they are unaffected by the credit crunch.

Due to new project wins and continued expansion, our client currently requires a Construction Planner to join a team of existing Planning Engineers. Responsibilities will include creating detailed project programmes, updating and monitoring progress, critical path analysis, earned value analysis, etc.

To apply:

- Planning experience of social housing new build and refurbishment is required

- Previous planning experience for a major UK construction company
- Proficiency with PowerProject software
- A relevant construction or civil engineering degree would be a distinct advantage.
- Good communication skills and team player.
- Eligible to work in the UK.

In return, my client is willing to offer a basic salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus executive car/allowance, health, pension, etc.
