A Quantity Surveyor is required to oversee the FF & E on a number of education projects. You will be working for one of the counties well respected contractors that act both as a principle contractor and sub-contractor. In this particular instant they are the sub-contractor to the main contractor on a number of BSF projects.

Ideal Candidate:

Our client are ideally looking for someone who has previous sub-contract experience or a good strong main contracting background. It would be advantageous if you have previous FF&E experience but this is not essential if you have a strong employment background with either a sub-contractor or main contractor. Our client have specified that you will be based in their Derbyshire office, the contracts are based in and around the Greater London area but you will not be asked to visit these sites but manage them from the Derbyshire office.

General Duties Include:

Negotiating, drafting, reviewing and revising contracts
Cost budgeting and cost control of projects
Attending site meetings with clients
Vetting, organising and controlling sub-contractors On offer for the successful candidate is a salary of up to £35k
