Construction Manager

Owing to a recently successful tender on a substantial new build project in near Birmingham my client is currently looking to strengthen their production team with a Construction Manager.

As Construction Manager you will report to the site based Project Manager on a Design & Build project valued at circa £50 million. The Construction Manager will be responsible for running the project in a hands on role and be responsible in turn for organising all trades and subcontractors in accordance with the programme. As Construction Manager you will be responsible for managing other sites supervisors, engineers and associated staff throughout.

Since the project is a substantial D&B site valued at £50 Million they are looking for an experienced Construction Manager who has recent experience of working as No. 2 to a Project Manager on large scale new build projects (with a minimum value of £25 Million). Therefore the role will suit individuals with experience of working for a large, plc, main contractor. Unfortunately individuals with experience of working on smaller projects or for regional builders will not be considered.
