Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Water

A Leading Cost Consultancy is seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager with their Regional Utilities Client. You would join a busy team working on their Cost Management Framework for Thames Water. Projects vary from asset maintenance programmes to major projects such as flood defence, new Water Treatment Plants, new pipelines, etc. Roles can include Estimating, Commercial Management and Data Management.

To be suitable you should have the following experience:

An experienced Quantity Surveyor with at least 4 years experience.
Ideally from a consultancy background, but individuals from a contracting organisation would also be considered
Degree qualified but also ideally professionally qualified or working towards qualification (MRICS, MACostE, MCIOB)
Significant and recent experience in the Water industry; ideally having worked on Thames Water commissions and hence are used to working with Thames Water systems and processes
Individuals with strong Estimating would be interesting to my client
Individuals with string Cost or Commercial Management experience would be interesting to my client
Individuals used to fulfilling the Data Management role on Thames Water commissions would also be of interest to my client
Strong client facing skills
