Commercial & Operational Director (Joint Venture – Repairs)

My client is looking for a Commercial & Operational Director to head up a formed joint venture between between my client (the contractor) and a Housing Association in the South East, delivering property maintenance services to social housing in and around the Kent Region.

Reporting into and working with the Board of Directors, something you will already be familiar with, we are looking to recruit a business leader who can direct day to day operations as well as the strategic, longer term objectives for the Company.

Duties will include:

Oversee the development and implementation of all activities of the Company including operational delivery, financial control, personnel and industrial relations and risk management

Ensure that the systems are in place to record and report on JV Company KPI's (business critical information) and are accessible in a timely fashion

To develop and manage key external relationships and act as an ambassador to promote and develop the JV Company Brand

Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Manage and develop JV Company Supply Chain.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a strong and motivational leader with good awareness of current health and safety legislation.
Ideally, you will have experience of delivering property services within a customer.
focused commercial organisation, and have the ability to prepare budgets, analyse financial statements and understand accounting issues as they relate to property operations and reporting requirements.
Experience mobilising and delivering a JV Contract within planned & reactive maintenance.
