Project Co-ordinator
A manufacturer of high end, bespoke timber conservatories, orangeries and pool rooms, our client differentiates itself in a competitive market in the innovative business model, quality, service, and an excellent reputation. To affect aggressive growth aspirations, the business defaults to a high level of focus on creating demand for our products in the market. The position of Conservatory Project Coordinator is pivotal to the effective delivery of the growth strategy.
The primary objective of the role is to manage coordinate the the flow of work in and out of the organisation in conjunction with the company's direct customers and distributors to ensure contracts and design proposals are accurately completed within the agreed company timescale and in such a way that positively affects the customer's perception of the company. This includes liaison at customer level, distributor support, and coordination of the appropriate suppliers and production facility, to both manage the expectations and ensure timely delivery.
Conservatory Project Co-ordinator Responsibilities include:
" Manage the design resources, ensuring that all designs, drawings and proposal are completed accurately and on time.
" Maintain accurate and complete job costing and analysis files, ensuring all work carried out is accurately recorded and measured in line with company procedures.
" Coordinate ' Full Working Drawings' from CAD department in conjunction with structural calculations and in house technical product data.
" Coordinate the sending of approved drawings to our factory facility for manufacturing, liaise with their technical team to answer any queries that may exist. Monitoring the progress of each project during the manufacturing process and alert the business / customer of any issues / delays as they arise.
" Managing/prioritising the flow of work between any Sales Office design work and Operations Department applications ensuring this work is completed in the companies required format and timescales.
" Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the distributor network.
" Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures.
" Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role. Identifying opportunities through market research where appropriate to ensure the business model developed and operates as efficiently as possible.
" Work closely with the management team to develop and implement the business strategy and actively participate in business planning and forecasting activities.
" Provide written reports on activities within customer base as required.
