Electrical Contracts Manager - Building Services

Our client is an M&E Building Services Contractor who specialise in providing total Design, management, installation and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Services to a number of Main Contractors.

Reporting to the Company Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of all works on site, leading the operational team and ensuring all Projects are completed to a good standard, on time and within budget. You will have a strong electrical background and have previous experience of managing multiple projects upto £500k.

Key responsibilities include:

* To successfully manage and lead the on-site team
* Liaise closely with the client and be fully conversant with contract and specification documents, associated KPI's and ensure that services are organised to meet those expectations.
* To be commercially and operationally responsible for the successful delivery of the contract
* Implement a positive health and safety culture
* Accountable for Profit & Loss and demonstrating appropriate financial management

Person specification:

* Qualified in building services would be ideal
* Qualification in health and safety
* Experience managing P&L or budgets previously
* Confidence in developing positive customer relations and able to represent the company with new groups of people, selling ideas and stimulating enthusiasm in others
* Ability to act independently with a high degree of flexibility
* Confident delegating skills, able to take responsibility for the activity of others
* Able to make difficult business decisions independently
* Ability to exercise leadership skills in a changing environment and able to take charge with high degree of confidence
* Positive leadership style, able to encourage team growth and development
* Highly motivated and driven to succeed

Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
