Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for two Site Managers for our client who is a prestigious steelwork and fabrication company based in Bedfordshire. They supply a number of bespoke systems to the construction industry and are now looking to expand their friendly and dedicated team.

The position involves planning and supervising the installation of products such as balconies, balustrades, railings, staircases and structural steelwork on various construction sites in and around the London area.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the industry and be able to work under their own initiative.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have the following experience and qualifications/attributes.

Good communication skills.
Full driving license (clean if possible).
CSCS site manager’s card.
First aid training.
SMSTS qualification.
Appointed person (not essential but beneficial).
Lift supervisor/banksmans qualification.
Capable of attending meetings with clients.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
Experience in preparing method statements and risk assessments.
Capable of reading drawings, setting from grid lines and datum's and problem solving.
IT literate.
Mewp & Pasma certification
