Quality Assurance Engineer

- conduct inspections on site ensuring that all is in line with the specifications, designs and safety of the project
- Ensure compliance documentation is complete and produced correctly by the site team
- conduct visits and assessments of construction work and processes in the manufacturing team
- conduct contract reviews and provide guidance to the site team
- Update the site database with quality data such as inspections, audits
- provide training where required in Quality management
- attend and when required chair weekly SHEQ meetings and attend project start up meetings
- tool box talks and Health and safety excursions when required

- minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance and proven ability to conduct inspections on site and report writing
- Relevant qualifications in construction
- recognised qualifications with an appropriate institute
- MUST HAVE Civil engineering background on major infrastructure projects such as Highways, piling works, concrete structures
- proven track record and evidence in competence of auditing
- Willing to travel to sites
