Role Description
A site based Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to work on Yorkshire Water projects supporting the AMP5 framework.

The projects are varied valued from 1 million to 80 million and can cover multiple sites across the Yorkshire region. Typical projects include Pumping station refurbishments including new builds and extensions, Waste Water Treatment Plants and upgrading systems on sites including new pumping equipment, control systems and site security.

You will be on site from the start of the project through to completion and final accounts. Ultimately the quantity surveyor will manage all costs relating to the civil engineering and M&E elements of the projects. Your role is to minimise the costs of the project and enhance value for money from the sub contractors, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Experience required
You will need to be in a full time Quantity Surveyor position and experience with in the Water or Civil Engineering sectors to be suitable for this role. A Qualification is also required ideally a degree but HNC / HND will be considered.
