Description		SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PURCHASING, C�35000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits, Witney, Oxfordshire 1502/34/dh JOB ROLE : SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PURCHASING : To develop relationships and services with existing supplier base to achieve pre-difined profiles of cost, quality & delivery. You'll work with Suppliers and Supply Quality Assurance to resolve supplier quality issues. Essentially you'll provide site-wide service, guidance and support for the procurement of non-inventory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER : * Initiate cost reduction projects with existing and potential alternative suppliers * Manage supplier pricing / cost structure * Early identification of any potential risk to supply continuity * Lead and support new supplier/new product introduction plans SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PURCHASING: * Ideally you'll be CIPS qualified - although this training will be provided as necessary * Experience of cost reduction initiatives * Experience of builidign working relationships with suppliers with a view to performance improvement * Experience of data analysis/evaluation and decision making
