Description		My Client, a leading retailer in its field, requires an experienced Area Manager to run their North West Region. With up to 10 shops, you will be responsible for the overall operations through the management of the shop managers. Experience of working in the discount/budget jewellery industry would be beneficial. As Area Manager, you will support, mentor and train all staff within your Region, providing performance feedback to allow personal and professional growth. Other responsibilities include the recruitment and selection of staff, training and development of staff, ensuring high level of customer service and awareness of market and trends and how to identify and address any issues. Main Duties and Responsibilities include:- Financial -Maximise Region profitability -Control expenses Operational Standards -Develop & implement operational procedures -Health & Safety Staff -Recruitment & retention -Staff training & development -Performance management Customer Service -Complaints handling -Customer satisfaction Communication -Effective and timely to all levels within the Company Person Specification -Must be prepared to travel, will include overnight stay as and when required -Multi-site experience essential -Must have P&L experience -Comfortable working to and delivering KPI's -Must be prepared to lead from the front and be very hands on -Experience of working in any of the following areas is desirable but not essential betting shop, cheque cashing, casino, discount jewellery Huntress does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
