Description		We are seeking an Assistant Product Merchandising Manager who will merchandise and manage Lifestyle & Kids footwear collections for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) marketplace Key Responsibilities � Merchandise the global lifestyle & kids product lines to deliver seasonal ranges that achieve business targets and drives profitable growth � Work closely with the category manager, product manager and design/development team to brief and create lifestyle footwear collections and key account programmes relevant to European consumers and marketplace. � Work with key customers & retailers to identify gaps and opportunities in the kids market and brief the USA product teams accordingly. � Ensure that product development happens according to set timelines � Work with design/development to ensure that products are briefed and developed to target price � Responsible for pricing and margin analysis for all products, ensuring appropriate gross margin requirements are met. � In conjunction with PM and creative team, frequently research and identify new developments relevant to the European lifestyle & kids industry and changing consumer landscape. � Provide the key interface between consumer requirements and the business. Conduct consumer research and focus groups working closely with central marketing. � Present new product collections to key customers � Establish strong relationships with EMEA subsidiary and distributor markets. Keep in regular communication with them to ensure all product queries, requirements and feedback are dealt with efficiently � Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure that effective sales tools are developed and that catalogue information is timely and accurate. Role Requirements: � 2+ years merchandising experience (footwear or Sunglasses is an advantage). � A strong desire to understand and meet consumer needs � Strong commercial awareness with ability to grow sales and margin through innovation, range planning and an understanding of the cost drivers of product. � Knowledge of European lifestyle/kids market, both consumer and retail. � Good eye for winning product and detail. � A passion for lifestyle and/or kids product and fashion footwear trends. � Graduate with Pan European experience. � Willingness to travel both in Europe and the USA. � Systems literate with efficient computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Lotus Notes.
