Description Role:

The role will involve procurement, planning, expediting and delivery of supply chain support to all SNS projects. The co-ordination and participation in all activities associated with procurement, materials management, marine and aviation logistics, warehousing and shore base operations.
This position will be based in Great Yarmouth but will require visits to Bacton and Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:

Provide link to Aberdeen operation (e.g. Contracts department, Technical Support Team) and maintain regular communications with Aberdeen.
Responsible for managing and maintaining business relationships with key service companies, vendors and contractors.
Seek and develop optimum processes for the delivery of goods and services into the operation and ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time to user groups.
Adhere to Client policies, processes and procedures.
To assist the Materials Coordinator and Procurement Assistant as required.
To purchase material/equipment in the most cost effective manner.
To monitor and expedite material/equipment to ensure delivery schedules are maintained or improved.
To assist in the development and co-ordination of all purchasing, material control and disposals strategies.
To assist in the development and co-ordination of all purchasing, material control and disposals strategies
Co-ordinates marine and aviation logistics support.
Participates in the development of strategic purchasing, contracting and process improvement.
Ensure hire equipment use is monitored and equipment returned in a timely manner.
Develop supply chain service by liaising with contracts, commercial and logistics to ensure an efficient service to operations.
Form part of the SNS Emergency Response Team as required by Company Emergency Response Procedures.
The listing of main responsibilities and main duties is not necessarily exhaustive and may be changed at management discretion to reflect the needs of the company.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Experience in oil and gas operations, with logistics and operational experience.
Previous experience in a similar role in support of onshore or offshore operations.
Ability to manage and network with external parties.
Firm negotiator with a sound understanding of Contracts and Service Level Agreements.
Effective interpersonal skills and assertive.
Excellent communication skills at all levels and with external parties.
Good knowledge of suppliers within the oil and gas industry with proven good relations.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Datawright and Maximo essential. Key Maximo user preferable.
Demonstrates a proactive attitude and is flexible.
Attainment of Offshore survival required.
Attainment of Competent Person Profile.
