Our client is a leading food manufacturer who has an immediate requirement for a Quality Auditor to work at their site in the South East of England.

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for auditing and verifying procedures to ensure product safety, quality and legality, along with completing relevant documentation. In this role you will be required to highlight issues with regards to Hygiene to individuals at all levels.

Applicants must be able to work individually and as part of a team, possess good problem solving skills and have previous QC/QA/Quality experience within a manufacturing environment (Ideally Food BRC environment). Desirable skills include, basic health and safety trained, a certificate in food hygiene, and HACCP experience.

The basic salary is £17,000 and the role will cover 5 out of 7 days a week , working days, so will involve regular weekend working.

The site is commutable from Hertford, Hitchin, Saint Albans and Luton.
