I am looking for a lead Procurment Manager responsible for the creation, deployment, and ongoing management of national procurement arrangements supporting strategic procurement projects. You will be producing a procurement strategy, developing a set of business requirements, runnning an EU compliant competition process, awarding agreement, providing succesful suppliers with specialist advice and contract management of all successful suppliers. This will involve managing a team working closly with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure that current and future procurement arrangements are designed to fully address strategic and operational business needs. You will have lead internal or external procurement teams or owned the function. You will understand Public sector EU procurement regulations and processes, knowledge of ICT procurements or products and services, and experise in supplier relations and contract management. Must have had budgetary responsibility coupled with solid presentation and bidding skills. Ideally have strong negotiation skills and be able to make complex decisions in a confident professional manner. With excellent problem solving skills and of a persuasive nature you will be a professional relationship builder.
