We are one of the leading country's Self-Storage brands and due to continued growth require an excellent Store Manager.

The Store Manager is therefore pivotal in ensuring company profitability through the provision of continuous sales activities, excellent customer service and high-level organisational management.

The underlying function of the Store Manager is to grow the Store, to ensure that maximum profitable capacity is achieved at all times, to market and sell both space, and the company as one of the leading suppliers of self storage space in the UK

Each Store Manager is personally accountable for the development and growth of every aspect of the Store and to employ a full range of 'enterprise' competences to achieve their results.

Main Duties

* Prepare Business and Marketing Plans that achieve both financial and other targets for the store, at all times ensuring they are carried out effectively.
* Prepare and carry out Marketing and Sales activities planned for the Store.
* Monitor the effectiveness of the Store operation against best practice and adapt the work processes as necessary.
* Recruit and select personnel for the store in line with it's resource requirements and agreed levels
* Carry out regular performance reviews on all members of the team and facilitate personal development plans.
* Coach and support all members of the store team to enable them to achieve their highest level of potential.
* Ensure that the physical standards reflect the company's desired professional image.
* Ensure that company administration is undertaken in a correct and timely way.
* Account accurately and fully for all monies received into and paid from the Store
* Complete all managerial and monitoring duties associated with company compliance
* Fully support the store team to ensure that they all have the opportunity to attend internal courses and to complete NVQ and other company training tasks.
* Fully support the store team in their desire to progress within the company
* To provide help and support to other stores when required

* Ensuring high level of customer service and satisfaction
* Leading by example
