A Leading FMCG organisation is looking for a Contract Packaging Mnaager to lead and manage all aspects of contract packing activity. The primary objective is to ensure all orders are completed in full and on time to the agreed specification; whilst implementing and standardising processes to support all associated activities. You will coordinate and lead all departments within the business with regards to contract pack requirements and act as the primary point of contact for all third parties. You will produce measurable operational productivity gains and alignment with yearly budget plans.
Other responsibilities include:
-Ensures all documentation and IT systems internally and externally are produced to agreed time lines.
-Provides financial analysis of work performed and potential opportunities.
-Manages any queries and NCRs arising from third parties.
-Manages capacity requirements with manufacturing and planning department.
-Ensures all invoicing is accurately managed and tracked.
-Works to involve everyone in the pursuit of sustained beneficial change
-Ensures that predicted improvements are implemented,Identifies opportunities to implement common processes and best practices from other sites and businesses. Ensures that predicted savings are tracked, validated and posted to the site's operating results.

The successful individual will have a Technical degree or equivalent experience within contract packaging and have extensive experience of Lean implementation in manufacturing operations. Knowledge of some Lean Production Tools is desirable (Prepared to undertake MSc in Lean Operations). You will be a great communicator and have the initiative to problem solve, challenge and improve to deliver agreed targets.
