We are looking for multi-skilled manufacturing engineer to be part of a team that operates and services the machinery in a busy FMCG factory. Previous work in either the Food and Drink, Pharmaceutical or the petro - chemical sectors is essential.

The factory runs a rotating 24/7 shift pattern and the successful candidates will be working 12 hour shifts, rotating between nights and days. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background in Production Maintenance and experience within the area's listed below;

Production Maintenance
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Mechanical fitting
PLC's

This is a permanent position and our client is looking for an engineer who is happy to work on the production lines along side the operators and service / repair the machines when necessary. Problem solving ability is essential and exposure to lean manufacturing such as OEE, TPM, Smed and 5s would be ideal.

Our client is also willing to train the engineers up to NVQ level 3 in Engineering maintenance as part of the package which includes; Private health care, Company Pension, Child care vouchers and Life insurance.
