About the role

You in a word? Influential. You see, you’ll plan, control and monitor every line in your vast product portfolio. A fashion futurologist, you’ll work alongside Buying and more experienced Merchandising colleagues to manage and plan stocks across our European business. In its purest terms, it’s about detailed analysis of data - spotting the products that appeal to our customers, ensuring their availability, driving cash flow and of course delivering healthy profits! As you work on purchasing, intake and distribution of merchandise across our Europe-wide store network, your all-knowing approach will also ensure that correct forward orders are placed with suppliers, and that mark-down activities are prepared and actioned.

About you

Well, firstly you’ll have significant experience at either Associate or Assistant Merchandiser level gained from working in a similar fast paced retail environment. On top of this you’ll possess a flawless eye for detail, be an Excel whizz and ideally have experience of using a WSSI! You’ll also need to be enthusiastic, confident, and approachable and certainly not be afraid to challenge conventional thinking. Basically you’ll have the personality and desire to grow your career and make a big impact in a fast-paced, global company. And that’s Claire’s!
