Our desire to maximise freshness and minimise the time from field to fork for our customers has driven us to become the UK?s second largest fresh food manufacturer, with ambitions to become number one. Vertically integrated, we?ve grown at an immense pace over the past two years and around 90% of the fresh food in store has been produced by our manufacturing team, giving you some idea of the scale and scope of our operations. With 4 existing divisions, plus the recently acquired Flowerworld, we have more exciting acquisitions in the pipeline and are planning to double the business over the coming years.

The Programme

If you are one of the handpicked individuals we select for our 18 month programme, you will experience a scheme that is designed to speed your development whilst broadening your outlook. For starters, a comprehensive induction at the beginning will give you an invaluable insight into manufacturing. Then you?ll immediately be assigned to live projects in areas such as People, Ops, CI, NPD, Engineering or Technical, where you?ll be given a taste of what it takes to manage people, ensuring you?re confident at influencing and leading teams, ready for when you assume your first line management role. By truly driving your career forward and making an impact from the offset you could complete the programme sooner and those exceptional Graduates that do are rewarded with the chance to quickly begin their transition into their future career role.

Where you go from there is up to you ? there?s lots of scope to further explore the many facets of our expanding and changing Manufacturing offering via a range of permanent roles. You will be moving around our various sites to fully experience every aspect of our operation so must be flexible about where you are based. We can also provide relocation support in certain circumstances and offer opportunities in the North, North West, Midlands and Scotland.

Graduates on our high profile schemes need to be more than just good, they need to be exceptional. We?re looking for our leaders of the future, so the stakes are high. You must hold at least a 2:1 or above in engineering or technology or a similar discipline, at least a grade C in GCSE maths and will ideally have some previous work experience.

We?re looking for 20 top flight Graduates who share our fresh approach to manufacturing, who are excited by it, and who are ready to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, getting pleasure in seeing tasks through to completion. Confidence, ambition, a competitive nature and a can-do attitude are the attributes that will ensure your success. Our Graduates are assessed frequently whilst being mentored by company Directors and receive training and development via our Academy on a range of essential technical and soft skills, so if you?re an exceptional graduate who still has much to prove, this is where you?ll find your way.
