Buyer

Buyer required for a manufacturer based in Suffolk. The Buyer must have a purchasing or buying background and be able to read engineering drawings.

The successful candidate MUST be able to read engineering drawings

The Role
Working in a busy purchasing team, the Buyer will be involved in the procurement of manufacturing and engineering items
Working on tenders, bids and contracts
Negotiating with suppliers
Reading from engineering drawings, placing purchase orders
Buying goods on a daily basis

Requirements
The Buyer MUST have purchasing or buying experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment
The ability to read engineering drawings
CIPS qualification would be beneficial
Strong communication skills
Computer literate

Salary
£20,000 - £25,000
28 days holiday
