Distribution Planner

Distribution Planner - Southampton - £21,000

STR is currently working with a world renowned FMCG manufacturer. Based in more than 5 European countries our client is looking to recruit 2 Distribution Planner for their Supply Chain team in Southampton.

The purpose of the Distribution Planner is to perform the development of a distribution plan and associated production requirements from factories to End-Markets. You will need to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet customer demands throughout the network including new product launches and promotion campaigns. The Distribution Planner will be tasked with delivering a finished goods replenishment plan by calculating replenishment requirements on all levels of the primary supply chain, on a weekly basis, based on weekly demand plan. You will also need to provide a finished goods tactical replenishment plan by calculating replenishment requirements on a monthly basis based on monthly demand forecast for the assigned segments of the supply chain.

The successful candidate will have supply chain experience preferable in planning role. Experience in data analysing and stock planning will be essential.

This position is likely to suit a Distribution Planner or Supply Chain Planner or Demand Planner or Inventory Planner.
