Production Planner

Production Planner - Southampton - Permanent - £21,000 Pro Rata.

STR is currently working with a world renowned FMCG manufacturer. Based in more than 5 European countries our client is looking to recruit 2 Production Planners for their Supply Chain team at Southampton.

STR's client is looking to recruit a Production Planner. The Production Planner will be required to prepare the short to medium term production plans to ensure strategic business objectives are met and long term customer services guaranteed. You will also need to ensure that the production plan meets the distribution requirements and provides the factory with an optimal manufacture plan in terms of manufacturing order and cost.

Key Responsibilities include:

Ensure that the Production plan executes minimal production costs.
Highlight demand and capacity inbalances.
Ensure the production schedule is constrained by the materials capability.
To prepare key KPI reports and dashboards to enable the weekly planning cycle.
Deliver the a optimum cost production plan while ensuring sustainable availability.
Ensure the short term plan fully reflects all constraints and delivers to the factory.
To ensure all plans support the KPI delivery

The successful candidate will have experiences working within the supply chain, preferably in a planning role. You will also possess profound analytical and planning skills.

This position is likely to suit a Production Planner or Distribution Planner or Supply Chain Planner or Demand Planner or Inventory Planner.
