Commercial Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Support professional join a leading organisation in Oxford.
You will join the Built Environment commercial team and play a key role in supporting the contract bidding process.
Key responsibilities include:
*Provide general commercial support to bidding process
*Liaison with incumbent suppliers to gain understanding of existing maintenance requirements & working arrangements
*Estimating assistance to enable first principle/pricing schedule estimation of maintenance requirements.
*Issue of tender enquiries for maintenance activities undertake tender analysis
*Conduct tender interviews
*Collate and present tender recommendations
*Post-Contract formalisation of service agreement documentation
*Support savings initiative through the re-procurement of hard and soft supply chain activities
You will possess extensive procurement/supply chain experience in addition to strong commercial acumen and technical knowledge. You will have the ability to produce pricing schedules and high level scope of works. Experience within hard and soft services would be preferred, in addition to membership of a recognised industry body, CIPS/RICS.
This position is offered on an initial 3 month contract basis, however a temp-perm option may be available.
