Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 Dependant on Experience with Potential for Bonus

My client represent one of the UK’s largest drinks wholesalers, their fast growing business presents opportunities for growth nationwide. Due to its expansion and success they are now recruiting for an enthusiastic Supply Chain Planner reporting to the Purchasing Manager to join its energetic and driven team based in Openshaw - Manchester.

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Planner to support the stock control, ordering to maintain the most efficient levels. You will be responsible for the forecasting and planning of all stock during promotional periods, aiming to ensure the highest cost savings. The perfect candidate will be well experienced in assisting in stock control.

The ideal candidate will enjoy putting systems in place and then ensuring they are running smoothly. You will be involved in the complete process, including:

- Forecasting of future usage
- Purchasing from the suppliers
- Liasing with depots about deliveries to ensure deliveries are completed on time
- Chasing suppliers when deliveries are missed
