Job Title: Trainee Fashion Buyer (Graduate Calibre)

Salary: £18,000

A leading retailer, based inWest Yorkshire, are currently seeking a Trainee Fashion Buyer of graduate calibre to join their team.

The Role:

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a talented Trainee Fashion Buyer to work in their buying team. The role is responsible for assisting the Buying team in their goal of exceeding customers' expectations and achieving margin and profit targets through the development and sourcing of a commercial range in line with the company and department strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting own brand product development
Research into and development of new ranges and projects
Assisting fit sessions by note taking and communicating with suppliers
Sample logging and management of PR samples
Dealing with general queries and day to day tasks Essential Skills / Experience:

Graduate calibre - fashion degree which is product related highly desirable
Strong commercial awareness
A keen interest in fashion and ability to spot latest trends
Experience of critical path management
Experience of fit sessions
Ability to manage own workload under pressure
Demonstrable Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
