£18000 + benefits
Must be flexible to do 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm with some weekend work
We are currently recruiting for our client based in Shaw who are looking to expand their team and recruit a process team leader to work within the distribution centre; some flexibility may be required to travel to other sites.
You will have previous experience of managing a team within a warehouse environment. You will be accountable for driving the delivery of quality, cost and delivery targets, as well as the teamís overall performance by focusing on the continuous improvement and promoting a team based culture. As a team leader you will be responsible for driving the team on a daily basis through delivering team briefs, setting targets, resource planning, managing performance, sickness & absence.
You will be responsible for delivering and evaluating Health and Safety training to all team members, along with ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times within the warehouse.
You will need:
Experience in warehouse management
Management of processes- planning and organisation
Leadership and people management experience.
Must be determined, persistent and confident
Quality driven to ensure standards are delivered.
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
Used to working to strict deadlines and able to prioritise workload under pressure Managing and maintaining a safe working environment.
