Description		The Company Leading provider of networking communications solutions have a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join their Marketing team. The Role The Marketing Communications Coordinator will support all marketing efforts across EMEA. A key part of the role is the support of various marketing programmes and activities (lead generation, brand awareness, on-line direct response, e-newsletters, on-line event logistics, etc) and the support of any other activities being driven by the Marketing team leaders in EMEA. Also critical is the project management of event logistics and execution for both the company and their partners in Europe. Key Responsibilities � Support the Marketing Programmes team to drive co-ordinated marketing campaigns across Europe. This includes supporting: o Direct mail campaigns o On-line media programmes, branding, advertising o Webcasts (organization and execution) o E-marketing efforts (cultivation, invitations, campaign follow up, support for PPC and SEO strategy) o Event logistics and execution for both Ciena and partners. � Work closely with internal key contributors (team members, Product Marketing, Strategic Comms, Web Marketing, PR and Sales) to support the marketing initiatives in Europe � Work closely with telemarketing agency to ensure leads are processed through the Lead Management system � Cleanse and organize data from EMEA marketing programmes and events before they are entered into the marketing database or lead management system. � Track and ensure that EMEA marketing paperwork and documentation is in order. Track purchase orders and purchase requisitions against projects and make sure invoices are processed. � Support the teams in Europe with localised marketing requests � Co-ordinate vendors in both EMEA and US. � Support marketing efforts in application verticals Skills � Strong ability to manage multiple tasks � Excellent communication skills � Ability and confidence to work in a virtual team and across cultures � A marketing background with experience in event planning and execution, direct response (off-line and on-line), creative development, advertising, and PR � Relevant pan-European Marketing experience either from agency or in-house � Marketing experience ideally from within Telecom or Technology sector Desired characteristics � Willingness to travel � Highly organized � Self motivated � Team player � Second European language a distinct advantage Package � Base to c.�30k � Corporate bonus to 7.5% � Private Health Insurance � Life Insurance � Contributory Pension � Health Club allowances � Education assistance � Employee Stock Purchase Programme
