Pharma/Healthcare is one of the fastest growing sectors for this impressive agency and an opportunity now exists for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join the team focused on UK based clients, mostly in the South East. A vital role, its aim is to grow existing revenue and to generate new sales across the portfolio of services, with particular emphasis on Business Solutions, to help clients optimise sales. The Business Development Manager will work closely with colleagues to agree client sales targets, communicate account status and agree strategies/actions to leverage additional revenue. Very client-facing, he or she will be expected to "open doors", build new relationships, including the delivery of proposals, negotiation and closure, and, ultimately, to aid the development of a more consultative research business. This exciting opportunity calls for someone with a proven track record in business development, preferably related to information services within the healthcare information environment and with strong existing relationships in the UK Healthcare industry.
