Description		High profile Integrated Agency with impressive major Client portfolio seek an outstanding individual to strengthen their Senior Management team. The role is ostensibly about managing pure digital business across three major Clients, including Financial Services & Corporate Retail - The work is all online focused including a mix of strategy with digital design and build (microsites, advertising and e-mails). The Group Account Director role is about leadership - directing your account group to ensure the capabilities of your team are developed to their full potential and the profit from your clients maximised. You will not only have excellent Account Handling skills and solid Direct Marketing knowledge, you will also have the ability to think on your feet and be credible applying your Direct Marketing knowledge to all situations and industry sectors. As GAD you will have well developed business acumen and will need to demonstrate first rate man management team building skills. You will be the fountain of direct marketing knowledge for senior clients and provide impetus at senior levels to drive through new initiatives. You will be detached from the day to day running of the account where possible and you will play a part in building the Agency's reputation for Strategic Direct Marketing capability with both existing clients and more generally through public speaking. Your role will be broadly split as: 40% strategy, 30% sales/growth and 30% servicing accounts. Additionally we will seek to identify your core competencies and expertise and seek to establish yourself as a spokesperson (within the industry) in those areas. You will work with your AD's to proactively develop potential campaigns based on clients objectives in order to �make' briefs, developing sustainable relationships with senior clients based on mutual trust and respect and ensuring best direct marketing and account management skills are used to service clients. Significantly, you will seek to ensure the best people are employed, their personal development maximised and that they feel motivated and retained, to deliver the high quality work that exceeds clients expectations.
