Opportunity;
Your role as a Pharmaceutical Direct Marketing Manager will involve assisting the head of customer retention to ensure key strategies and objectives are achieved. You will manage the customer communications process for the three UK consumer healthcare direct brands and deliver briefed customer communication campaigns in accordance with the agreed objectives, strategies and schedule while respecting drop dates and sales targets. You will mentor, train and supervise the marketing executive, marketing assistants and designers.

Other duties include:
• To manage the department P&L to ensure that top and bottom line targets are met in line with defined budget.
• To develop integrated multi-channel communication strategies in association with the online and telesales team to maximize the performance of the unit.
• To implement the new customer journey whilst developing new methods of data segmentation, then to raise all necessary data selection forms necessary.
• To act as brand champion for all UK healthcare brands ensuring all communications are coherent and abide by the values of the brand.
• To provide monthly updates and present to department heads.
• To oversee, support and mentor assistants to bring their full and productive development and to assist in the provision and identification of adequate training to improve their marketing effectiveness.

Person;
• Graduate or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of direct marketing experience ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Good copywriting and creative brief writing skills.
• A personal commitment to healthy living.
• P&L experience.
• Cost benefit analysis experience.
• Understanding of brand (integrity, values, touchpoints etc).
• Business to business relationship experience (dealing/negotiating with external agencies, creative, data, analysis, product etc).
• Experience in data, segmentation, direct mail, testing.
• Understanding of developing lifetime value.
