This demanding position within a leading international pharmaceutical company offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who thrives in an exciting business environment where achievement is well rewarded.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing and delivering strategic and operational Marketing and Advertising activity to support sales growth of branded products and will be required to contribute significantly to Business Development both nationally and internationally.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, ambitious and highly motivated marketing professional with either a primary or secondary marketing qualification.

You will have a minimum of 10 years marketing experience in a commercial environment with five years experience of departmental management responsibility preferably within the pharmaceutical sector, and will have the ability to communicate at the highest professional level within academic and commercial institutions ideally with international exposure. This position will involve European travel.

You will thrive in a demanding working environment, where adherence to tight deadlines and the necessity to deliver added value is second nature. You must be comfortable progressing a number of major projects simultaneously and proactively meeting the marketing needs of a rapidly expanding multi-national organisation.

Qualifications:

This appointment is within the
Pharmaceutical industry and preference will be given to those candidates with a life science background, however, candidates with experience in other commercial environments outside this sector are welcome.
