Description		Senior Account Executive �25,000 My Client currently has a vacancy for a motorcycle enthusiast, preferably one who rides a scooter or motorcycle regularly, to join the company as a Senior Account Executive working predominantly on the Scooter and Motorcycle brands within their PR Agency. This role is based in Central London which is an ideal location for any one who has to commute to work or even ride their motorbike to the capital. My client cannot emphasis enough the passion you must have for Motorcycles in order to carryout this role successfully. You will provide solid and reliable support to more senior members of the account teams. The principal duty of this role will be to begin to take responsibility for managing junior members of a team plus responsibility for the day-to-day administrative aspects of relevant clients. Responsibilities will include: demonstrating the ability to plan and prioritise own workloads; being familiar with all agreed work programmes, including the planning, organising and managing of junior team members; checking written material before they are sent to the Account Manager/Account Director for approval; motivating the team and identifying opportunities and problems for discussion with senior management; drafting press releases, features, press packs and status reports; nurturing close working relationships with both clients and media contacts; updating team members on all client developments; developing a greater and detailed understanding of client business; managing the database list of press contacts; liaising with our nominated garages to run the press fleet as well as managing the annual budget allocated to the fleet; developing confidence in presenting internally and externally; ensuring all media opportunities are maximised and maximum coverage achieved; assisting in press briefings and other related events; ensuring press cuttings are mounted and sent to clients; and regularly reading cross-sections of motorcycling magazines plus other related articles. These responsibilities incorporate a strong technical element where specific and detailed product knowledge is essential, for example, in relation to the various motorcycle sectors (sports touring, cruiser, super sports, sport, etc.) oils, disc brakes, and two and four-stroke engines, etc. A full job description can be sent on request.
