Job Title: Online Marketing Assistant

Location: Hoddesdon, Herts

Salary: �20,000 - �25,000

An Online Marketing Assistant is required by my client who is a fast growing organisation in the insurance industry.

Due to their ongoing growth and success, a Marketing Assistant is required to primarily be involved in B2C marketing, driving customers to the retail travel insurance brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in all areas of marketing for a fast growing business and there will be great potential to grow and develop the role to become a key member of the team.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for the PPC (pay per click) involving the daily management and reporting of Google, Yahoo and MSN campaigns. You will also be looking after Affiliate Marketing and will be monitoring and reporting on affiliate sales and managing the process of de-duping and recalling sales. You will also be checking for affiliates bidding on brand terms. This busy role also involves managing the compliance sign-off process for all advertising and PR and you will be helping to create and broadcast email marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will also become the first point of contact for the marketing and PR agencies and will also be involved in the development of a social media strategy.

To be successful in this role, you must be a self motivated individual who's not afraid to use their own initiative and ideas to help drive the marketing campaigns to the next level.

This role could suit a graduate with perhaps 1 or 2 years experience but you must have commercial experience and knowledge of the basic understanding of the principals of marketing. You must also possess experience in Google Adwords, email marketing, an understanding of affiliate marketing and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
