PR Account Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and driven PR Account Manager to join our client based in South Birmingham. This unique opening will allow the successful candidate to join a leading communications consultancy which can boast an impressive client portfolio.

Role: PR Account Manager
Location: South Birmingham
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

As a PR Account Manager, you will successfully contribute to our clients aim of achieving more effective and more productive communication for their clients. As a result, your role will be to:

*Be the main day-to-day contact on a portfolio of clients, with the aim to deliver the goals for those accounts

*Be involved in the conception and delivery of PR and communications ideas for existing clients and input into new business proposals

*To help develop the business by identifying and helping to secure new business opportunities.

*Helping deliver clients' PR programme against given timescale and budget.

*Researching and writing press releases, features and profiles. Telephone and e-mail liaison with key media and 'selling in' stories.

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and be able to demonstrate successful experience within a similar PR Account Management role, preferably within an agency environment. You will be a confident communicator, with a natural organisational ability to liaise with clients, photographers, market research companies and press cuttings providers when necessary. You will be confident when presenting to small and large audiences and be proactive in attending client meetings and networking events.
