Description

This is a good opportunity for someone who is currently working in Hospitality - either as a Head Chef or in management - or is currently an NVQ Assessor but fancies a chnage of company, to join a great company in the rewarding role of an NVQ Assessor across the Hospitality qualifications.

For this role you need to have a supervisory/management role within Hospitality and also NVQ Level 3 and ideally the A1 qualification and V1.

The main function of the role is to recruit eligible people onto the Governments Training schemes and provide them with support and guidance during their training though to completion.

Specifically:

Recruit Learners on to schemes of training as planned by the Contracts Manager

Complete all required paperwork and follow all laid down processes to start a Learner onto a Scheme of Training

Ensure that new starts are given an Induction that will meet their needs

Ensure that a Plan for the Learners training requirements is made for the duration of their time with the company

Engage with the Learner?s Employer to establish commitment to the Learners training and to develop a good working relationship

Ensure that the Learner has been registered with the appropriate Awarding Body/ies.

Carry out reviews with the Learner and Employer to meet his/her needs and to be contract compliant

Assist, train and advise on the building of the Learners NVQ Portfolio/s

Recommend and request additional training for the Learner as required

Ensure that certificates for qualifications gained are claimed in a timely and procedural compliant manner

Learners not completing their training must be exited from the scheme following policy and procedure

All paper work for the learners? journal, portfolios and Awarding Bodies must be up to date, kept in the correct location and meet contractual requirements

To ensure that each Learner is given the best opportunity and assistance to succeed

To complete all electronic records to the required quality standards and to the required timescales

To keep the Contract?s Manager informed of Learner progress, problems, resource requirements and your planned/current location with contact details

To carry out any other reasonable task as so required by the immediate Line Manager/suitable member of management, or designate of the Company acting under instruction
