We are looking for an experienced Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join a brand new and exciting venture at a boutique hotel in the West Midlands
To be considered for the role of Events and Sales Manager, you will be from an events/sales background, preferably within the hotel industry
Key responsibilities
Putting considerable effort into understanding your customer and working as a team with key stakeholders including GM, Hotel Sales Manager, Revenue Manager and operational colleagues.
Continually focused on achieving agreed sales targets, reacting to slippage as appropriate. .
Taking a hands-on approach, leading by example.
Fully conversant with Hotel Budget and M&E contribution to it
Develop & implement an M&E strategy to ensure maximum yield is always achieved
Competently manage, update and interpret supporting systems to maximise sales performance
Work with key stakeholders across the business
Highly motivated self starter
Competent in M&E Revenue Management processes (minimum 2 years related experience)
Ability to undertake proactive sales activity to include telesales & some face to face sales
Strong desire to seek, find & convert new M&E business
Uses a structured approach to ensure both proactive & reactive sides of the M&E role are delivered
