This is a great challenge for a person with experience of selling and organising events such as weddings in hotels and has also some experience of general operations. The position is based in Wimbledon and is paying about £26000 including performance pay. The client may consider a higher package for an exceptional candidate.
Manage the selling of conferences and events + operations of conferences and events.
As well as these important responsibilities, the Deputy Operations Manager will work with the Operations Manager and Group Operations Manager to maximise the revenue of all the operations of the hotel.
Target and manage key members of staff.
Ensure that food quality is of the highest quality.
Manage the kitchen staff.
Attain set service standards in the restaurant.
Assist and work with the Duty Managers.
Overall responsibility for the operations of the hotel.
