Therapeutic Social Worker Fostering Team Midlands £29,000 pa

The Sugarman Group is currently working in partnership with a prestigious private organisation that provides foster care placements within the Midlands. We are currently assisting this group in their recruitment of an experienced Therapeutic Fostering Social Worker to join their team on a permanent full time basis.

Responsibilities within the position will include:
Monthly home visit to each family and completed home visit report to be signed by Link Worker, Team Manager and Foster Parent and filed each month.
Attendance at LAC review meetings for children in your families
Written report from the Link Worker for the LAC Review as part of the review papers prepared for the IRO
Attendance at any other relevant professionals meetings
Raise awareness with families of their contractual agreement to attend mandatory training (100%), supervision (80%) and to return diaries every month in line with fostering regulations
Report any Child Protection of Safeguarding information to the Child Protection Co-ordinator

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience within fostering
Full GSCC registration
A full UK driving license
Eligibility to work within the UK
Ability to prioritise and manage time
